Destin, Florida 2012

We had a wonderful trip to Destin this year. Lori, Tyler, and Layton were with us again this year, but did not stay in the same condo. Catherine got sick with an ear infection while we were there, but recovered after a few days. Each morning we would go for a walk/run at the park while Chloe was riding her bike. She has learned to ride her bike without training wheels. She only had one bad fall the whole time. What a great time making precious memories with our girls!!

One Sick Girl!!

Last week, we noticed that Chloe was not hearing well at all. We took her to Dr. Stewart and she had a severe ear infection and had lost almost all of her hearing in her right ear. For several nights, she had a fever of 105 degrees... it was very scary. This is how we found her at the table after a Bible study with Daddy.

FCA Fall Festival

FCA had their annual Fall Festival last weekend. Chloe had a great day with her friends from FCA!!

Scarecrow Cupcakes

Last week, Chloe had to bring a snack each day for her class at FCA. We decided to bring a "special snack" on Friday..... scarecrow cupcakes!! Our family had a great time making them together, even Catherine joined in the fun!

9 Monhts!!

It is hard to believe that Catherine is 9 months... boy, where does the time go??  Catherine has changed SO  much over the last month.  She is now crawling all over the place and she is pulling to stand all of the time!!  She started "standing" this weekend and now she is able to get into MORE of Chloe's things!!  Catherine jabbers all of the time and has recently started waving "bye bye".  She cotinues to eat her homemade baby food and her favorite foods are squash, pears, apples, and sweet potatoes.Catherine's hair continues to grow and still stands "straight up",  know matter how much we comb it!!  Catherine is a wonderful baby; she hardly ever cries unless she is hungry.  We went for her 9 month check up today and she had to get her blood drawn.  I had told Chloe that Catherine was going to have her blood drawn today and Chloe prayed for her on the way to school this morning.  She prayed that it would not hurt Catherine too bad when she got her "blood drawing".  When I picked Chloe up from school, I told her that God had answered her prayer.  Catherine fell asleep when I was feeding her in the lab and she did not even wake up when the woman was taking her blood ( 4 vials of blood) !!!  Catherine weighs 17.3 and is 27 inches long!!  She is in the 31% for her weight and 22% for her height.  She is a small little thing, but full of engery and a bundle of joy!!
