For Halloween this year, we went with a "Wizard of Oz" theme. Chloe had a violin concert where we wore our costumes and we also had a Halloween party at church where we received first place for "Best Dressed".
Catherine had an accident right before Halloween. Her black eye was not part of her costume. She fell out of her chair at preschool and hit the corner of the table.... Ouch!!
We had to bury our first pet in October. It was "Goldie" the goldfish. We had to have a funeral with flowers and a small service and prayer. Chloe took loosing her first pet really hard.
Chloe had a "pumpkin baby" for a week as an assignment for Mrs. Shirley's class. She has to take care of her baby pumpkin like a real baby. At the end of the week, her class had a baby shower!! The kids had a great time with this project.
During Fall Break, we headed to Fairfield Glade, TN. This is a retirement town, basically in the middle of nowhere. We had a relaxing vacation, played outdoors and saw lots of wildlife. The condo had a huge indoor pool where we also spent lots of time. We drove to Gatlinburg for one night and had lots of fun.
My name is Dawn Pitcock and I am proud to call myself a Christian. I am married to a wonderful Christian man. We were married in Jamaica in March 2006. In December 2007, we had our first beautiful daughter, Chloe Elyse Pitcock, who has been such a wonderful blessing to our lives. Stephen and I were blessed four years later in November of 2011 with a second daughter, Catherine Elizabeth. We are also foster parents, but currently do not have any foster children living with us. I work part-time with the early intervention program in Kentucky and the rest of the time I spend on domestic engineering projects!!
