Grammy's Broken Foot

Right after Grammy moved next door, Mommy and Grammy were walking Carly and got into the middle of a literal "dog fight". Grammy got knocked down and we had to carry her back to her house. She said her foot was hurting, but thought she was OK. Turned out the x-ray showed it was a break. After four weeks in a cast, when she went to have it taken off, the orthopedic doctor told her it had not healed correctly and she was going to have to have surgery. It seemed like a nightmare. These were really rough times for all of us as Grammy was a caretaker for O'Pa. God was good and we made it through this difficult time. We are so thankful she and O'Pa are right next door!!
