O'Pa's Birthday

Last weekend, we went to Grammy and O'Pa's and spent the night as Daddy was on his 100 MILE bike ride. We celebrated O'Pa's birthday on Saturday.  And yes, Daddy did survive!!!

Chloe Lost her First Tooth!!!

Chloe lost her first tooth on Spring Break in Gatlinburg!! She was so excited as it fell out when she was eating. She said, "It's a dream come true!!!" The tooth fairy found her way to Gatlinburg and left Chloe $5 under her pillow. Chloe said that the tooth fairy must leave a dollar for how many years you have!! Uh-oh!!

Spring Break in Gatlinburg

After worship service at Lads to Leaders, we ate Easter Dinner at Cracker Barrel and then headed to the mountains.  The Groce family went to Gatlinburg as well.  Chloe loved hanging out with Adysen and had a great time in Gatlinburg!!

Lads to Leaders 2013!!!

Chloe had a great time at Lads to Leaders this year.  She was involved in so many things this year.  She participated in painting, drawing, photography, song leading, Bible reading, and puppets.  We had a great time seeing all the children gain confidence in becoming leaders in the church.  Our room at Opryland Hotel was very nice this year, we even had a balcony. The girls loved playing on the balcony during our "down time".  We are so proud of Chloe and her willingness to "lead" and take a stand for what is most important.

The Paci's Back!!

We took Catherine's pacifier on 3-27 as Dr. Stewart told us it was time now that she is 15 months old.  I asked her how to do it and she said "cold turkey".  So....... that is what we did!!!  The first two days were a breeze!!!  She did not cry or ask for it at all.  Then, about the third day, all she did was cry!!  We would put her down for a nap and she would cry for about an hour or more.  On 3-29, as I was trying to pack and get ready for Lads to Leaders and Gatlinburg, I "caved" after hearing her scream for 1 1/2 hours.  As soon as she got it back, she put her head on my shoulder and went to sleep.  And now,she seems to be even more attached to it than ever.  Maybe she scared we are going to take it again??????  Mommy is scared too!!

The Easter Bunny Came Early!!!

The Easter Bunny came early to our house this year.  Chloe left him a note telling him we would be in Nashville for Lads to Leaders so he came on Thursday night.  He left so many things this year.... the girls must have been really good.
